To me this fiction book read like a cross between a documentary and a diary.Jane Bond was widowed earlier than expected. Her children arrange for other accommodations. Mrs. Bond tries to acclimate but finds the other tenants a bit odd. Most of the tenants are unsure if she is a lonely widow or a crackpot trouble maker. Will they come to an understanding?
Overall I enjoyed the book. I wondered what was going to happen next. As I read the last page, I wondered why the author left it the way he did. That could just be me.
If you are about to retire and wonder how your children might treat you then this may be worth reading.
